Over 20,000 young people have been members of PACE. While many used the key skills they have learned in PACE in successful careers outside of the Arts, many have also gone onto work as actors, musicians, TV presenters, drama workers etc..
Hundreds of former and current PACE members have also appeared in film, TV and advertising as part of PACE Casting. For more info on PACE Casting click here.

James McAvoy
Actor
James is a BAFTA nominated actor who has appeared in blockbuster films such as Atonement, Chronicles of Narnia and Last King of Scotland. His TV includes Shameless and Band of Brothers.

Paulo Nutini
Singer
Paulo is a Paisley born singer/songwriter who has had a top five album (These Streets) and several hit singles including Last Request.

One of Paulo's first pop videos was made as part of a PACEPlus Pop Video Production course. |

Gordon McCorkell
Actor
Gordon has appeared as Deek in River City since it started in 2002. He has also appeared in Chewin' the Fat, Jeopardy and Still Game.

Gordon was the first winner of PACE's Mark Martin Award for Outstanding Contribution to Youth Theatre.

David Sneddon
Musician
David Sneddon is a Paisley born singer song writer who won BBC1's Fame Academy in 2002. He had a number one single with Stop Living the Lie and top ten album. David has appeared as a member of the professional cast in three PACE pantos.

Kate Heavenor
TV Presenter
Kate was born in Glasgow and has presented Fully Booked, CBBC and Children in Need as well as Celebdaq on BBC3.

Shauna McDonald
Actor
Born in Malaysia, Shauna has starred in BBC1's Spooks and Channel 4's Wedding Belles and has appeared in films including The Descent.

Laura Marks
Musician / TV Presenter
Laura was the keyboard player and backing vocalist for successful Scots band El Presidente. She currently presents Bite for Channel 4.com.

Richard Madden
Actor
Richard recently appeared as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare's Globe. He is currently appearing in Noughts and Crosses with the RSC.

Darren Brownlie
Performer
Darren won a BAFTA while at PACE for his performance in Love Me Tender before training in Musical Theatre. He has appeared in London's West End in Side by Side, by Sondheim and has performed with Girls Aloud.

Howie McCullough
Actor
Better known in PACE as Andrew Howie, Howie is currently a successful actor and performer, touring around the UK. He made his London West ENd theatre debut in December 2008 in Horrid Henry.
