Workshops are at the core of PACE Youth Theatre and a lot of time and effort is spent ensuring our workshops are fun, educational, well targeted and of the highest standard.
PACE workshops take place at weekends, and some mid-week evenings, during school term-time, with 3 terms every year. There are normally several groups at each level, particularly for younger groups, so if a time does not suit, then let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Every level of group works on different skills, suitable for their age and experience. The workshops are all based on our unique syllabus, devised for every level and age group to cover many key skills. Workshops at all levels are based around confidence building, cooperation, communication and performance skills. Workshops may be based around movement, voice, acting, dance-drama, song, music or improvisation. Each workshop is geared towards the particular ages and requirements of the group and the individuals, and we believe that they will, over time, with commitment and enthusiasm, improve members' lives for the better.
The best level and group for each member is monitored by the full drama staff, with a progress report issued at least once a year to regularly update members and parent on their progress through PACE.
