Our online casting search supplies CVs and recent photos of over 900 young people, all members of PACE Youth Theatre, the largest youth theatre in the country with over 2000 members. Thousands of PACE Youth Theatre members have appeared in hundreds of film, television, theatre, advertising, corporate and radio productions over the last fifteen years, and many have gone on to careers as professional actors. We believe our brand of training in performance skills uniquely prepares our members for performing in film and television.
Our approach emphasises subtlety, realism and professionalism, through workshops in confidence, communication and key skills.
PACE also provides a complete service for production companies, from initial castings to rehearsal space and facilities through to children’s performance licences and chaperoning. PACE Casting provides free representation to all members of PACE Youth Theatre. PACE does not take a ‘cut’ or commission from the earnings of any of our members. PACE is a non-profit making organisation and registered charity.
If you are casting a production involving young actors you can use the website to view photographs and casting information for over 900 young actors. You can also contact us on 0845 130 5218 with a breakdown of your requirements and we will provide you with a free, individually tailored list of artists that meet those needs. To save time when more than just a ‘look’ is required we strongly recommend you get in touch for such a list. Our drama workers, who work with all of members on a regular basis, can recommend to you young people with particular strengths in the areas you require. They can also access our total membership of over 2,000 for newer members or members who did not opt into this website, for others who may be suitable. Once you have finalised a list we will contact them for you with details of how you wish to proceed. We can also provide rehearsal studios and facilities for auditions if you wish.
Once cast, PACE will help arrange Children’s Performance Licenses for you if you wish, liaising with both the artist and the local authority. The 1968 Children’s Act requires a license for all ‘performances by children’ under 16. All of our members under the age of 16 must also be accompanied by one of our experienced chaperones when working. (Maximum of 10 children per chaperone). For more information or assistance call us on 0845 130 5218. |
